Local stars: Wayne and Coleen Rooney arrive on the red carpet for Oliver! at the Palace Theatre in Manchester, tonight
It looks as though Wayne Rooney would do anything to make his wife happy.
The Manchester United hit-man headed out on a date night with Coleen Rooney to watch Oliver! at the Palace Theatre in Manchester, England.
As the local celebrities got out of their minibus they instantly became the stars of the show as the other theatre-goers spotted them and began taking photographs of them. Coleen, 25, was dressed to impress and looked great in a pair of black peep-toe Louboutin heels and black trousers.

The England footballer wore a pair of smart jeans with black trainers and a shirt with a black quilted jacket.
The star couple enjoyed the show and were given some VIP treatment by the theatre after being allowed to go on stage and have their pictures taken with the cast.
The couple were joined by Everton player Darron Gibson and football legend Sir Bobby Robson.

Wayne said on Twitter: 'Me darron gibson and sir bobby with oliver cast. Great show loved it. Dodger was brilliant.' (sic)
Coleen posted a picture a picture of the three men on stage on Twitter and was equally as supportive of the musical as her husband.
She said: 'Great night at palace theatre to see Oliver with @Dcartashian!!! @WayneRooney, Gibbo and Sir Bobby part of the cast!!'

One of the main roles in the play was performed by I'd Do Anything contestant Samantha Barks who was last night confirmed to play Eponine in the film adaptation of Les Miserables.
The 21-year-old was stunned when she was given the news by producer Cameron Mackintosh on stage at the Manchester Palace Theatre during the curtain call for Oliver! - in which she currently plays Nancy.
The brunette, who has already played Eponine in the West End, beat the likes of Taylor Swift, Lea Michele, Evan Rachel Wood and Scarlett Johansson, who had all been touted for the coveted role.
