Nice moves, boys: One Direction steal the elbow dance from The Inbetweeners for their new video One Thing

Dancing queens: One Direction show off their best moves in new music video One Thing

After having been nominated for a Brit Award earlier this week, One Direction treated their fans to the long awaited new music video One Thing.
The Gotta Be You singers have released their third video while on their UK tour but we're sure we have seen some of their dance moves before.
The boys spend the majority of their time on camera larking around and looking pretty in smart trousers and shirts but their dancing leaves something to be desired.
Fans of The Inbetweeners will recognise the popular elbow dance that appeared in last year's comedy and the 1D lads proudly copied the not-so-slick moves.

Action: One Direction have released the new video for their third single One Thing

The band are not known for amazing choreography and they have a long way to go before rivaling fellow X Factor act JLS, but taking inspiration from Will, Simon, Neil and Jay is probably not a good idea.
However, with a the good looks and boyish charm we're sure that their legion of female fans won't care how they look on the dance floor.

Looking smooth: The lads were all dressed in smart clothes for their London based video

Band member Liam Payne, 18, was happy that some of the fans got some time on camera and posted a message on Twitter.
He said: 'Hope you guys like the video :) nice to get a few of you guys in it xxx.'
Curly haired heartthrob Harry Styles also tweeted: 'Hope you guys like the 'One Thing' video!! I'm currently watching Robin's pretty darn good.'

Having a laugh: The boys can be seen enjoying themselves in the new music video and lark around

Lads on tour: One Direction did no dancing in the video and seemed content to just mess around

One Thing was filmed in November 2011 in and around London on a red bus at some of the capital's landmarks including Trafalgar Square.
The boys brought the West End to a halt when filming as girls sprinted through the streets for a glimpse of the pin-ups.
In scenes that were reminiscent of Beatlemania, One Direction's fans caused a stampede as they ran through London trying to get in the video.

Friends forever: One Direction are currently on tour together and have been talking to fans on Twitter

The boys had tweeted at the time that they would be in Trafalgar Square, London, to film scenes for their third single One Thing.
Harry Styles wrote: 'Trafalgar Square... Let's Do It!!!'
They were hardly incognito as they used an open top red bus to get around the capital and waved to fans as they drove past several West End theatres.

Hide and seek: The boys sing in formation from behind a sofa on the streets of London

The boy band are up for Best Single in this year’s Brit Awards for their debut single What Makes You Beautiful.
Songwriter Ed Sheeran leads the field for this year’s contest with four nominations, while Adele and Jessie J are both up for three prizes.
